WOYWW - Week 72

Good Morning all.  I hope you are all well.  Thankyou for visiting my blog.  My desk this morning is a bit of a tip!  I have been working on a scrapbook for my husband who is 60 on Friday!  I am trying to get it finished in time.  Only one page to go!  Every time he comes up the stairs I have to hide it under a pile of papers.  You can see the front cover right at the front of my desk!  I hope he likes it!
Last week we were at Center Parcs in Cumbria.  What a great time we had.  There was 20 of us ranging from 18 months to 77 years young.  We had a girly night at the Spa, just relaxing and trying out all the pools and saunas when the fire alarm went off.  Thankfully it was a false alarm.
I tried my hand at pottery  and here is a photo of the plate I painted.  I was rather pleased with it.  Can't wait to fill it with Christmas goodies.

Last week I was lucky to win a Hougie Board in one of the craft magazines.  I have also won 2 tickets to the SECC in Glasgow this weekend for the Craft Show.  I shall try not to spend too much!
On Sunday I am going to a one day Christmas workshop up in Perth.  It'll be a good day.
Thankyou so much for visiting me.  Why not pop over to Julia's at The Stamping Ground to find out more about WOYWW!

WOYWW - 70

Good Morning All

I hope all is ok with you.  My desk this morning is showing a card I made at a new craft club that has just started in Perth. We meet once a month.  Irene very kindly started us off with this lovely card using Tilda.

This is the front of the card.

This is the inside.

We all had a lovely afternoon, chatting, getting to know one another. Swapping ideas, we had a raffle. We did a die-cut swap. Someone made home-made cakes. The afternoon passed so quickly, I can't wait till the next meeting.

If you would like to join in with WOYWW, go to Julia's blog - The Stamping Ground.   I hope you all have a good week, whatever you are doing.

Thanks for taking the time to have a look.

Oops. Just realised I pressed the wrong button and have published this post a day early.  Have a busy day tomorrow - that's why I'm doing this on a Tuesday!

Hello everybody.  Sorry I have been a bad blogger of late - too much to do. I don't know where the time goes.   However, I have found time to make  some baby cards.  I have had so much fun making them.   This stamp is from Joanna Sheen's Messy Rabbit.   One in blue and one in pink.

Another two using a Penny Black stamp.

and two little rabbits.  This card is for friends of ours who are going to be grandparents for the first time.

I have used Pro Markers for all the cards.  The flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts.  A Martha Stewart punch.  The rest from my stash.

Frosty the Snowman

I took ages to make this card, I could not decide on the layout and the colours had me stumped.  I was going to enter it into the Winter Wonderland challenge but I couldn't find another paper.  You had to use 4 papers.  The papers I did use are from fancy pants designs.  I also used a Martha Stewart punch and a little ribbon.
I am going to enter it into -

Charisma Cardz Challenge - Inspired by a song (Frosty the Snowman)

I hope you like it.

WOYWW - Week 66

Good Morning everybody.  Another week, another Wednesday.  I hope you are all well.

Have been having a little play, coming up with ideas for my friend's wedding.  She asked me if I could make her favours.  She would like blue thistles, ribbon and hearts.
Below is a photo of my ideas, she liked the box the best.  I think that is my favourite too.

Below is the stash I got recently from Create and Craft.  I am going to make a scrapbook for my husband's  60th birthday in October.  I think these papers are gorgeous

I was given two blog awards.  This one was from Fiona of Lil daffodil

and this one from Lynn of Crafty Linby

Thankyou so much.

I was pleased to win the Winter Wonderland challenge last week with this card.

Last Wednesday, hubby took me through to Glasgow to a craft shop I have never been to before. It is called Craft World.  Brilliant shop.  Bought lots of goodies.  I could of spent more but he was waiting in the car for me.
Hope you all have a good Wednesday whatever you are doing.  Why not pop over to The Stamping Ground to see what is going on.

WOYWW - Week 64

Happy Wednesday all.  Where has the week gone.?   There's not much going on my desk today.  I borrowed some Christmas stamps from a friend.  I have been colouring them in with my Pro Markers and then putting them through the cuttlebug ready for when I come to make my cards.  I also made some poinsettia flowers.  I watched a demonstration on Create and Craft, then decided to have go myself.

Took a photo of the lilies in my garden.  They are gorgeous.

Tilda In Red

Good Morning everyone.  I hope you have all had a good weekend.
I made this card using a Tilda stamp coloured in using my ProMarkers.  The paper is from Bo Bunny.  I used a Martha Stewart Punch round the Page.  I have just got this punch and it is fantastic.  Red cardstock from my stash.  The ribbon I have had for quite a while, I saved it off a box of chocolates, I knew it would come in handy sometime.  The holly and fern are both punches.
I am going to enter it into

Thanks for taking the time to have a look.
