Mum's birthday

Hello everyone.  What a horrible day it is here. It is wet and cold.   I hope you have all had a good weekend.     Here is a card I made for my mum's birthday. The paper and card are from my friend Fiona.   I used a Lili of the Valley stamp coloured with my ProMarkers.  Her tutu and wings have been sprinkled with extra fine glitter.  A Martha Stewart border punch  finished off with a little ribbon and sentiment.

Some glitter and sparkle

I hope you have had a good Wednesday. I certainly have.   I have been in my craft room for most of the afternoon.
My friend asked if I would make her a 21st card for her daughter.  I used an image from Lili of the Valley coloured with promarkers.  A Martha Stewart punch for the corners and borders.  And some flowers from my stash which have been been painted with stickles to give them some extra sparkle..    Her dress and wings have been sprinkled with extra fine glitter although it has not come up very well and the flash has caught the top of the photo.
I am going to enter it into the Top Tip Tuesday Challenge - Fabulous Flowers

I hope you like it.

WOYWW - 86

Another week, another Wednesday.  Thankyou for visiting me.  It's nice to see you.    Today, all you can see are the papers I am using.  The actual project is hidden away as it is a surprise for someone. Will post it later.

Here is a photo of the blog candy I won from  mess2magic.  What a lovely surprise that was.  It's like Christmas again!
I had a lovely day yesterday visiting Fiona - lildaffodil.  She has a new craft room and it is fantastic.  So much space.
My New Years Resolution didn't last very long.  All of 3 weeks.  There was a craft sale up in Perth and I just had to go.
I hope you all have a good week whatever you are doing.
Why not pop over to Julia's blog now to have a nosey.
Happy Crafting

Bees and Bunny

I made this card using a Penny Black stamp, coloured with ProMarkers and mounted onto card.  The white card was run through my cuttlebug using swiss dots embossing folder.  The paper was a freebie with a magazine.    Added a little ribbon and a flower from my stash.
I am going to enter it into the following challenges -

See  Anne's post from 16th January for info regarding this.

remember you have to do it too - so I shall check before I make and if you have not posted it forward I shall move to the next person in the list that has commented.

Gentle Rain

Hello ladies.  Am so disappointed I cannot get to my craft class this afternoon up in Perth because of the snow, so I thought I would make a card at home instead.
I used a house mouse stamp 'gentle rain' coloured in with my promarkers.  The punch is a Martha Stewart (the first time I have used it) and the ribbon was wrapped round a sweetie jar which I had saved some time ago.
I am going to enter it into
I love promarkers challenge - recycle.
I hope you like it and thanks for popping by.

WOYWW - Week 83

A Happy New Year to everyone and thank you for all the lovely comments you leave me.
Have you made any New Year Resolutions?  Mine is to use all the craft stash I have and not buy any more!  LOL  I wonder how long that will last.
I took this photo last night after I had finished making a baby card for a friend.  You can see the Martha Stewart punch I used.  My promarkers.  Two jars of pink ribbon. My Jamie Oliver mug.  I took down all the decorations yesterday and have dumped the christmas cards in the back right-hand corner.  I will recycle some of them to use next year!   I will tidy up tomorrow!
Now hop over to Julia's desk to have a nosey at some other desks.  Thanks for popping by and have a good week whatever you are doing.

My best Project for 2010

The Stamp Man are running a Special Blog Hop, Candy and Awards Event running from Friday 31st December till Thursday 13th January 2011.  They would also like you to show your best craft project for the Year 2010.  I just love this card I made at a Craft Club in July.  The stamp  was In the Garden by Hero Arts using an embossed layered resist technique.  I also used a Martha Stewart border punch.
Why not pop over to the Stamp Man and have a look.
Everyone is welcome to join in!
