All I want for Christmas

Hello everyone.  This afternoon I was crafting with the lovely Fiona of Lil Daffodil.   Her cards are stunning, you really should visit her blog.  We do a little crafting, have a cup of tea and a good old blether. I really look forward to our little get- togethers.   I made this card using a Lily of the Valley stamp coloured in using Pro Markers.  I am going to enter it into the Winter Wonderland challenge - All I want for Christmas.

I hope you like it.

WOYWW - Week 64

Happy Wednesday all.  Where has the week gone.?   There's not much going on my desk today.  I borrowed some Christmas stamps from a friend.  I have been colouring them in with my Pro Markers and then putting them through the cuttlebug ready for when I come to make my cards.  I also made some poinsettia flowers.  I watched a demonstration on Create and Craft, then decided to have go myself.

Took a photo of the lilies in my garden.  They are gorgeous.

Why not pop over to Julia's blog at the Stamping Ground to find out more about WOYWW.
Have a good week.

Tilda In Red

Good Morning everyone.  I hope you have all had a good weekend.
I made this card using a Tilda stamp coloured in using my ProMarkers.  The paper is from Bo Bunny.  I used a Martha Stewart Punch round the Page.  I have just got this punch and it is fantastic.  Red cardstock from my stash.  The ribbon I have had for quite a while, I saved it off a box of chocolates, I knew it would come in handy sometime.  The holly and fern are both punches.
I am going to enter it into
Die cut Dreams Xmas Club challenge - Tilda in Red.
Thanks for taking the time to have a look.

Birthday Card

Hello Everyone.  It's a wee while since I've been blogging.  I don't know where the time goes.
I was asked to make a card for a little girl who will be 7 next week.  I decided to use Tilda coloured in using my pro markers.  The paper is from Bo Bunny - Kitchen Spice Rosemary.  I used a Martha Stewart punch for the corners and borders.  The flower is from Wild Orchid Crafts.  I hope she likes it.
Thankyou for taking the time to look,

Embossed Layered Resist

On Friday I went up to Stampaholics in Perth for a workshop entitled Embossed Layered Resist. Wasn't quite sure what this was but I thoroughly enjoyed myself.  This was the first card I made.  The poppies were coloured using Distress Inks.  Punches from Martha Stewart.

Another card using the same technique.
I hope you are all enjoying this nice weather we are having just now.  Long may it continue.

Have a good week.

WOYWW - Week 61

Hello Everyone.  I can't believe that another week has passed so quickly.  Where does the time go.  I hope you are all well.  Last night I was making a card for good friends of ours whose 40th Anniversary is in a fortnight.  You can see the finished card in my next post.  I used Tilda and Edwin (of course).  Flowers I got from my local craft shop.  They were coloured with ProMarkers.
On Saturday I went up to Perth to a Distressing demonstration.  I learnt new techniques and spent loads of money then came home for a play.  I made a little Craftrak card which I am going to send to Carol - Lexiemarkone of Carol's Little piece of Heaven.  She so kindly sent me some die-cuts that I liked.  You must have a look at her blog.  It is lovely.

Last week I found out that I had won the Winter Wonderland challenge - sketch with this card.

Why not pop over to Julia's blog at Stamping Ground to find out what is going on.
I'm off now to have a peek.
Have a good week and thanks for popping by.
