Some glitter and sparkle

I hope you have had a good Wednesday. I certainly have.   I have been in my craft room for most of the afternoon.
My friend asked if I would make her a 21st card for her daughter.  I used an image from Lili of the Valley coloured with promarkers.  A Martha Stewart punch for the corners and borders.  And some flowers from my stash which have been been painted with stickles to give them some extra sparkle..    Her dress and wings have been sprinkled with extra fine glitter although it has not come up very well and the flash has caught the top of the photo.
I am going to enter it into the Top Tip Tuesday Challenge - Fabulous Flowers

I hope you like it.

WOYWW - 86

Another week, another Wednesday.  Thankyou for visiting me.  It's nice to see you.    Today, all you can see are the papers I am using.  The actual project is hidden away as it is a surprise for someone. Will post it later.

Here is a photo of the blog candy I won from  mess2magic.  What a lovely surprise that was.  It's like Christmas again!
I had a lovely day yesterday visiting Fiona - lildaffodil.  She has a new craft room and it is fantastic.  So much space.
My New Years Resolution didn't last very long.  All of 3 weeks.  There was a craft sale up in Perth and I just had to go.
I hope you all have a good week whatever you are doing.
Why not pop over to Julia's blog now to have a nosey.

Gentle Rain

Hello ladies.  Am so disappointed I cannot get to my craft class this afternoon up in Perth because of the snow, so I thought I would make a card at home instead.
I used a house mouse stamp 'gentle rain' coloured in with my promarkers.  The punch is a Martha Stewart (the first time I have used it) and the ribbon was wrapped round a sweetie jar which I had saved some time ago.
I am going to enter it into
I love promarkers challenge - recycle.

WOYWW - Week 83

A Happy New Year to everyone and thank you for all the lovely comments you leave me.
Have you made any New Year Resolutions?  Mine is to use all the craft stash I have and not buy any more!  LOL  I wonder how long that will last.
I took this photo last night after I had finished making a baby card for a friend.  You can see the Martha Stewart punch I used.  My promarkers.  Two jars of pink ribbon. My Jamie Oliver mug.  I took down all the decorations yesterday and have dumped the christmas cards in the back right-hand corner.  I will recycle some of them to use next year!   I will tidy up tomorrow!
Now hop over to Julia's desk to have a nosey at some other desks.  Thanks for popping by and have a good week whatever you are doing.

WOYWW - Week 82

Good Morning WOYWW's and I hope you all had a very Merry Christmas.  That's it over again for another year.  Not much happening today.  This is the lull in between Christmas and the New Year.  OH away back to work and I am trying to tidy up after all the celebrations.    To the left you can see my new Purple Cow trimmer which my son gave me for Christmas.  My latest Making Cards magazine.  The beginnings of a card using a House-Mouse stamp.  And a thankyou digi from Delicious Doodles. That's about it.  Why not hop over to Julia's blog at the Stamping Ground to find out what's going on.
I hope you all have a very Happy New Year and ready to get crafting again in 2011.
Thankyou for all the lovely comments you leave and all the lovely friends I have made along the way.

Good evening everybody.  Yippee I finished my christmas  shopping today.  All I have to do now is the wrapping.  I went to see Fiona yesterday and had a lovely time making this card.  The little hedgehog looks so cozy with his woolly scarf on.  I really enjoy our little get-togethers.
I hope you are all managing to stay warm.

My first christmas card

It's snowing again.  When will it stop?  I thought I would show you the christmas card my grand-daughter made for me.  She is only 7.  It's lovely.  She has used deckled edge scissors at the side.  The presents have all been decoupaged.  And she has handwritten her own sentiments.  I will give it pride of place.

Let it snow

Hello everyone.  I hope you are all keeping warm.  I made this card using silver card and silver snowflake papers.  I stamped the snowman image and embossed him in silver.  I used a Marianne design in silver card for the frame and added a little ribbon.  I hope you like it.  I was inspired by all the snow we have at the moment.  Happy crafting.
