A Piper

Hello everybody and thanks for visiting me this evenimg.  I was asked to make a card for a man who is 40 and who likes to play the bagpipes.  Where am I going to get an image of a piper?  So I came up with this picture which is a children's colouring-in page.  I reduced it in size and mounted it on black cardstock.  The paper is from Colour Co-ordinations.  I used a Martha Stewart punch and added some ribbon and stones from my stash.  I hope he likes it.
I am going to enter it into the following challenges -
Craftalicious - Birthdays
Pollycraft Mpnday -  Happy Birthday
Thanks for popping by.  Happy Crafting.

  1. Hi Kathleen,
This card is so well put together. Great idea to use the image out of a child's book. The paper andthe punched borders are gorgeous. This card looks good on your blog but it is so much better in the flesh. Thanks for your visit this afternoon and bringing it with you.
