Hello all and I have to apologise for the lack of comments. Mr. Blogger is at it again. Every time I go to leave a comment the screen freezes. It is so annoying!
Thought I would show you a wooden box that I decorated at my Sunday Craft Club up in Perth. This took me four hours to complete, two cups of tea and a supply of cake. I am so pleased with it.
Here is the lid, sorry not a very good photo. I hope you like it.
Hi Kathleen Lovely work! This blogging is hard work at times isn't it? I have lost your email address, but want you to know I appreciate all your lovely comments on my blog xx
I love this - it really looks like you took a lot longer than 4 hours. Did you cover with paper or did you paint it? Did everyone do the same at the club, or did you have your own choice because either way, its such a lovely theme - and colour palette.
A couple of years ago or more, I found a shop when I was staying with my friend. The shop had all sorts of plain wooden boxes for altering, painting, varnishing, decoupaging - whatever you wanted to do, and they were really cheap. I bought a couple or 3 boxes then 2 small sets of wooden drawers, all for altering and making into gifts. I've still not done one of them yet and it is something I wanted to do this year. Oh well, there's plenty of time yet.
Hope you are keeping well and are keeping busy and out of trouble lol.
ooh what a pretty little box - gorgeous colours .
