1st Birthday Card

I made this card for my grand-daughter's first birthday, not that she will appreciate it but her mum will! I used pitter patter by Making Memories mounted onto pink cardstock. I used my cuttlebug for the scalloped circle, the border was an embossing folder edged with white lace. Tilda stamp which I love watercoloured with Tombow pens. Daisy punch and Martha Stewart fern with a little pearl from my stash. I went shopping yesterday and picked up Creatables by Marianne Designs in the bottom left hand corner. You thread ribbon through the holes to make a delightful flower and I added a little button to finish it off! Oh and I added a "one" in the corner. I hope you like it! Thanks for looking! Happy Crafting! Kathleen x

  1. Awww this is sweet Kathleen - she may not appreciate it now - but in years to come when she looks back on them all she will... I save all my cards bought or made - every year since i can remember - and obviously save all the boys cards that they have... they're like little atristic snapshots of time.

Glad to see you joined in WOYWW and have the badge - you'll love it - and hopefully build up your followers and make new friends through it - such a great thing to be part of.
